Terms and Conditions of Drum Hire
1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the hiring of drums from Stage Door Events Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Stage Door Events“). By hiring drums from Stage Door Events Ltd, you ("the Hirer") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Rental Period 2.1 The rental period commences on the date the drums are collected or delivered and ends on the agreed return date. 2.2 Extensions to the rental period must be agreed upon in writing by Stage Door Events Ltd prior to the return date. Additional charges may apply.
3. Rental Charges 3.1 The Hirer agrees to pay the full rental fee as specified in the rental agreement or listed at https://stagedoorevents.com/drum-kit-hire.html 3.2 Payment must be made in full before or at the time of drum collection or delivery unless otherwise agreed upon. 3.3 Late return of drums will incur additional charges, which will be calculated on a daily basis until the drums are returned.
4. Collection and Return 4.1 The Hirer is responsible for collecting the drums from Stage Door Events Ltd premises unless delivery has been arranged. 4.2 The Hirer must return the drums to Stage Door Events Ltd premises by the agreed return date, in the same condition as when they were hired.
5. Condition of Equipment 5.1 The Hirer is required to inspect the drums upon collection or delivery and report any damage or defects to Stage Door Events Ltd immediately. 5.2 The drums must be returned in the same condition as they were at the time of collection, barring normal wear and tear.
6. Breakage, Damage, and Loss 6.1 The Hirer is fully responsible for the care and safekeeping of the drums during the rental period. 6.2 In the event of any breakage, damage, or loss of the drums or any of their components, the Hirer agrees to notify Stage Door Events Ltd immediately. 6.3 The Hirer will be charged for the repair or replacement of any broken, damaged, or lost drums. The cost will be based on the current market value of the drum(s) or the cost of repairs, whichever is applicable. 6.4 The Hirer has the option to either pay the replacement cost or to find a like-for-like replacement, subject to Stage Door Events Ltd approval. 6.5 If the Hirer fails to pay for or replace the damaged or lost drum(s) within 14 days of the incident, additional charges may apply.
7. Use of Equipment 7.1 The Hirer agrees to use the drums in a careful and responsible manner, solely for their intended purpose. 7.2 The Hirer must ensure that the drums are not used by unauthorised persons or for any unlawful activities.
8. Liability 8.1 Stage Door Events Ltd is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of the hired drums. 8.2 The Hirer indemnifies Stage Door Events Ltd against any claims, damages, or losses arising from the use of the drums during the rental period.
9. Cancellation and Refunds 9.1 Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days before the start of the rental period to receive a full refund. 9.2 Cancellations made within 5 days of the rental period may incur a cancellation fee, as specified by Stage Door Events Ltd.
10. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The United Kingdom.
11. Agreement By hiring drums from Stage Door Events Ltd, the Hirer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
